Handmade in Italy from a vintage Japanese silk kimono, this one-of-a-kind bomber jacket preserves the original textile’s intricate design in a relaxed, contemporary silhouette.
White cranes soar above sweeping waves in pale turquoise, deep blue and gold, accented by delicate floral motifs and touches of crimson. In Japanese culture, cranes symbolize longevity, happiness and good fortune. Embroidered birds and flowing water extend across the front and back of the jacket.
Navy satin sleeves contrast with the patterned silk body, while a crimson ribbed collar, cuffs and waistband frame the silhouette. A two-way front zipper completes the jacket.
