The fit of a custom suit is only as good as the tailor’s eye, and Nigel Curtiss has proved that maxim with his mastery of cut, pattern, and fabric, over thirty years of making fine suits for a discerning and demanding clientele.
On the theory that ‘posture and balance are 90% of a great custom suit’, Nigel works from a tailor’s block in whatever standard size approximates his client, making more than 35 adjustments and alterations to the client’s pattern. He can then deliver a perfect handmade suit, tailored in Italy in five to six weeks, eliminating several steps and several months of standard bespoke suiting methods.
